Welcome each new guest automatically

Give every new guest the same first-week sequence, timed from the day they connect.

What this helps you do

A Journey is a sequence of messages timed from when each person joins, so everyone gets the same welcome no matter when they connect. Message one goes out immediately or on the day you choose for that person, and the rest follow on your schedule. Each person has their own clock.

When to use it

Use it for a new-guest welcome, a loyalty sequence that explains how the program works, or a follow-up for everyone who connected at a tasting.

How to do it

  • Open Campaigns and choose New Journey.
  • Pick the audience that enrolls people: anyone added to it begins the Journey from the first message.
  • Write the steps in order and set when each sends: immediately after joining, or a number of days later, optionally at a specific time.
  • If people are already in the audience, choose whether to start the Journey for all of them or only for people who join from now on.
  • Activate the Journey. The page shows who is at which step, who completed it, and who left early.

Example

Your new-guest Journey sends a thank-you and a little about the kitchen on day one, a suggestion of what to try on the next visit on day three, and the upcoming events calendar on day eight. A guest who connects from the receipt on Friday and one who joins the loyalty program on Tuesday each get the full sequence from their own start.

Good to know

  • If a guest leaves the audience their remaining messages stop; rejoining does not automatically restart a finished sequence.
  • Connect your loyalty signup form to the inbound webhook and new members can be invited without anyone touching the Hub. There is no POS or loyalty connector that does this for you.
  • Journeys are part of Hub Pro, which unlocks at $500 in cumulative credit purchases for any organization. Until then the page shows your progress toward it, and Content Series is available now.
