Communicate around a gala, giving day or community event

Run a full countdown and follow-up around one big date.

What this helps you do

An Event Campaign is a set of messages built around one fixed date. You set the event date once and add messages before, on, and after it; the Hub schedules them all.

When to use it

Use it for a single dated moment: an annual gala, a giving day, a volunteer day, a community open house, or a program launch.

How to do it

  • Open Event Campaign.
  • Set the event date once.
  • Add messages timed before (save the date, reminders), on the day (logistics and details), and after (thank you and follow-up).
  • Choose the audience, and the Hub schedules everything around the date.

Example

For your Annual Gala you set the date, then add a save-the-date, reminders as it nears, a day-of message with parking and timing, a heartfelt thank-you the next morning, and a follow-up a week later inviting guests to become monthly supporters.

Good to know

  • Someone who joins midway only gets upcoming messages, never reminders that already passed.
  • The post-event thank-you and monthly-supporter invite are where one-time attendees become lasting donors.
  • Event Campaigns are part of Hub Pro.
