Where the Hub fits beside your registration and league platform

Your registration platform keeps the roster and the schedule. The Hub adds the channel to the families who chose to hear from you.

What this helps you do

Your registration or league platform keeps who signed up, which team they are on, the fixture list and the fees. The Hub holds only the families who connected, the divisions and teams they follow, and what you sent. It does not know Saturday's schedule, so a rainout is a message a person sends the moment the call is made. Whatever the system, the doors are the same four: a CSV export you upload on Connections, the inbound webhook that invites one person at a time, signed outbound events that tell your systems who connected or replied, and the Zapier app when both ends are apps rather than code.

When to use it

Use CSV at the start of a season, when registration has just closed and you have a fresh opted-in export. Use the inbound webhook when registration should invite a family the day they sign up. Use outbound events when your own records should know who connected. Many leagues never use more than the registration-night code.

How to do it

  • Export the opted-in families from your registration platform once registration closes and upload the CSV on Connections.
  • Point the registration confirmation step at the inbound webhook on Integrations so each new family is invited the same day.
  • Add your HTTPS endpoint under events out if your league records should hear about connections and replies.
  • Ask for the Zapier app to wire registration to the Hub without code.
  • Send the rainout, the field change or the referee note from Send. Nothing is watching the weather or the schedule for you.

Example

A league exports its opted-in families after registration night and uploads the CSV. At 6:40 on Saturday the fields are called; the commissioner sends one Blast to the affected divisions and the coaches answer in Conversations. The fixture list never left the registration platform.

Good to know

  • There is no registration, roster, scheduling or league-platform connector. SportsEngine, TeamSnap and LeagueApps are named here only to say so.
  • The Hub holds no roster, fixture, fee or eligibility data, and cannot reschedule a game.
  • Two guardians are two connections; a household groups them so one mailing reaches the family once.

Do it in your Hub
