What this helps you do
Setup gets your gym ready to send: your profile and branding, your timezone and interface language, the gym-controlled Blasts account, your email sending address, and the preferences page where members choose what they receive. A new gym sets all of this up through onboarding, and the Hub activates with its first credit purchase from BlastCredits.
When to use it
Do this once before you invite anyone, and revisit it if you open a second location, change your website, or change who holds the account.
How to do it
- Sign in at /hub/signin/ with an email code, a passkey, or Sign in with Blasts, then open Settings.
- Enter your gym name and website so your logo and colors can be captured automatically.
- Set your timezone and country so a 6 p.m. Sunday schedule note actually goes out at 6 p.m. where your members are.
- Choose your interface language. Members choose their own language on their preferences page.
- Confirm the gym-controlled Blasts account: a mailbox on your own domain (not an owner's personal Gmail), which is the root of ownership and recovery. Publish the DNS TXT record Settings shows you to verify the domain, and leave it published.
- Check Email sending: the Hub provisions a sending address for you, and you can pick the weekday your weekly digest goes out. Every new Hub starts with 50 email credits.
- Copy the members portal link into the welcome email; that is where each member picks Blasts, email or both and chooses which classes and programs they hear about.
- Turn on auto-accept while you are running the first push, and decide whether an instructor's Blasts need an administrator's approval.
Example
Before the first push the owner enters the gym name and website, and the Hub pulls the logo and colors so every Blast looks like the studio. She sets the timezone, verifies the domain, turns on auto-accept, and puts the portal link in the welcome email so every new member sets their preferences on the day they join.
Good to know
- The Blasts account belongs to the gym, not to one person, so it keeps working when a manager moves on.
- Add a passkey on Home so step-up confirmations for All Members sends use Face ID, Touch ID or your device PIN.
- You can change the interface language anytime; only the Hub chrome changes, never what members wrote or chose.
- Setting the Hub up changes nothing in your membership or booking software. Keep running memberships, bookings and payments where you run them now.
