Plan the run-up in advance

Write the know-before-you-go run once and let each piece go out on its day.

What this helps you do

A Content Series is a set of different prewritten messages that go out on a schedule you choose: daily, weekdays, weekly, or on specific dates. You write each message ahead of time and the Hub delivers them in order. An attendee who connects midway gets the current message, never the backlog.

When to use it

Use it for content that follows the calendar rather than the event date: a weekly speaker spotlight through the season, a build-up series in the month before doors, or a run of preparation notes for a race. When the timing should hang off the event date instead, use an Event Campaign.

How to do it

  • Open Campaigns and choose New Content Series.
  • Pick the audience it goes to, such as All Attendees or one track.
  • Set the schedule and time, for example every Tuesday at noon.
  • Paste or type the messages, one per line, or pin a message to an exact date such as the day the schedule is published.
  • Review the calendar and Activate. Pause, resume or add more messages anytime; the Hub warns you when the series is running low.

Example

Eight weeks out, the organizer writes eight speaker spotlights and schedules them for Tuesdays at noon. They go out without anyone remembering, and someone who buys a ticket in week five gets week five's spotlight rather than the four that already ran.

Good to know

  • Each message in the series is different, and you write them all in advance. Sent messages are permanent history; edits only affect messages that have not gone out yet.
  • A paused series skips the dates it missed rather than catching up.
  • Every step is a normal Blast: one credit per person reached, with the email leg for people who chose email.
  • Content Series is included from the start. Journeys and Event Campaigns are Hub Pro.
