What this helps you do
A Content Series is a set of different prewritten messages that go out on a schedule you choose: daily, weekdays, weekly, or on specific dates. You write each message ahead of time and the Hub delivers them in order. A customer who connects midway gets the current message, never the backlog.
When to use it
Use it for the content the store already plans: a winter readiness note in November, a tire and brake note before the first freeze, an air-conditioning note in May, a monthly owner tip, or a run of holiday-hours notices in December.
How to do it
- Open Campaigns and choose New Content Series.
- Pick the audience it goes to, such as Service Customers or Truck Owners.
- Set the schedule and time, for example monthly on a Tuesday morning.
- Paste or type the messages, one per line, or pin a message to an exact date such as the day before a holiday.
- Review the calendar and Activate. Pause, resume or add more messages anytime; the Hub warns you when the series is running low.
Example
In October the service manager writes six owner notes for the winter: battery testing, tires, wipers and washer fluid, block heaters, the holiday hours and a January service special. Each goes to Service Customers on its date, and nobody has to remember. A customer who connects in November gets November's note, not October's.
Good to know
- Each message in the series is different, and you write them all in advance. Sent messages are permanent history; edits only affect messages that have not gone out yet.
- A paused series skips the dates it missed rather than catching up.
- A series is not a reminder engine: the Hub has no mileage, service history or appointment data, so a series sends the same note to a whole audience on a date, not a personalized interval to one owner.
- Every step is a normal Blast: one credit per customer reached, with the email leg for customers who chose email.
- Content Series is included from the start. Journeys and Event Campaigns are Hub Pro.
