Give ministry leaders the right access

Let leaders send to their own ministry without touching the whole church.

What this helps you do

You can invite your staff and ministry leaders onto the team and give each one the right level of access, so they help without over-reaching.

When to use it

Use roles when more than one person sends messages, or when you want a leader to handle their own ministry while you keep oversight of the whole church.

How to do it

  • Open the Team screen.
  • Invite a person by email; they sign in as themselves.
  • Pick a role: Owner and Admin reach every audience, a Leader is limited to specific audiences they can send to and read replies from, and a Viewer is read-only.
  • For a Leader, choose which audiences they are allowed to send to.

Example

You invite your Youth Director as a Leader limited to the Youth audience, so she runs youth communication on her own. You add a Prayer Team leader limited to the Prayer audience. Both handle their people while you keep the Churchwide send to yourself.

Good to know

  • Each person signs in with their own account, so you always know who sent what.
  • A Leader only sees replies from the audiences they manage.
  • Give someone Viewer access if they should read along but not send.
