What this helps you do
Campaigns let you prepare messages once and have the Hub deliver each one at the right time. There are three kinds, and the difference is what the timing follows. A Content Series follows the calendar: a schedule of prewritten messages. A Journey follows each person: a sequence timed from when they join an audience. An Event Campaign follows one date: messages before, on and after it. One-time and scheduled sends stay under Sent & Scheduled.
- Content Series: timing follows a schedule. A new person joining gets the current content, never the backlog.
- Journey: timing follows each person's start date. A new person joining starts at step one.
- Event Campaign: timing follows the event date. A new person joining receives only the upcoming messages.
When to use it
Use a Content Series for regular planned content (a daily reading, a weekly tip, a season of match previews). Use a Journey for onboarding anyone new. Use an Event Campaign for a single big moment.
How to do it
- Open Campaigns and choose the kind: New Content Series, New Journey, or New Event Campaign.
- Give it a name and pick the audience that receives it.
- Write the messages. For a Series, paste them one per line or give each its own date; for a Journey, set days after joining; for an Event, set before, on or after the date.
- Review the timeline and the credit estimate, then Activate. Nothing sends from a draft.
- Pause, resume, edit upcoming messages, add more, or end the campaign from its page. Sent history never changes.
Example
A league runs a Content Series of Monday previews all season, a Journey that welcomes each new family over their first two weeks, and an Event Campaign counting down to the championship. All three run at once, each timed its own way.
Good to know
- Content Series is included from the start. Journeys and Event Campaigns are Hub Pro, which unlocks at $500 in total purchases.
- Every campaign step is a normal Blast: it costs one credit per person reached and takes the email leg for people who chose email.
- A paused Series skips the dates it missed rather than catching up.
- The Hub warns you when a Series is running low on content.
