What this helps you do
Setup gets your organization ready to send: your profile, your timezone, your interface language, and the Blasts account your organization uses.
When to use it
Do this once when you first start, and revisit it if your website, timezone, or language preference changes.
How to do it
- Open your organization settings.
- Enter your organization name and website so your logo and colors can be captured automatically.
- Set your timezone and country so scheduled messages go out at the right local time.
- Choose your interface language.
- Confirm the organization-controlled Blasts account email, which belongs to the organization, not one person.
Example
When you start, you enter your organization name and website. The Hub pulls your logo and brand color from the site so messages look like you. You set your timezone so a scheduled thank-you goes out at the right local time.
Good to know
- Your website is used to capture your logo and color automatically.
- The Blasts account belongs to the organization, so it keeps working as staff come and go.
- You can switch the interface language anytime.
- Email sending is set up automatically on your own address. Its verified status is a DNS check, separate from nonprofit verification.
