Turn supporters into lasting connections

Invite supporters to connect at the moment they act, then stay in touch for good.

What this helps you do

Blasts lets you reach your supporters directly, with their permission. Each person installs the free Blasts app once and connects to your organization, and after that your updates arrive right on their phone or computer, clearly marked as from you.

When to use it

Invite people to connect at the moments they are already engaged: the donation thank-you page, a volunteer or event registration confirmation, a membership sign-up, a website form, or a QR code at an event. This happens continuously, not at one gathering.

How to do it

  • Open Supporters in your Hub.
  • Put your QR code or connect link (blasts.app/connect/your-id) on your donation thank-you page, registration confirmations, and website forms.
  • Each supporter installs the free Blasts app (Chrome or Edge extension on a computer, or the iPhone or Android app) and approves the connection.
  • You can also send a one-click connection request that a supporter approves.
  • Click Sync connections to pull in the latest people.

Example

You add your connect QR to the thank-you page a donor sees right after giving. In the warm glow of just having donated, they scan it and connect. Now every impact update reaches them directly, and you did not have to catch them at an event.

Good to know

  • It is permission-based: supporters opt in, and can mute or disconnect anytime.
  • The best moment to ask is right after someone gives, registers, or signs up, so build the invite into those pages.
  • People install the app once, then connecting takes seconds.
  • Already have a list? Import a CSV on Supporters, or post new people from your donation platform, volunteer sign-up form or Zapier through Integrations; they are invited the same consent-first way.
  • Anyone who prefers email for now still receives your updates by email, and can join Blasts later.
