What this helps you do
Credits are how you pay for messages. They are prepaid, never expire, and there is no subscription. One typed Blast to one person is one Blasts credit; one email on the email leg is one email credit. Receiving is always free for your people; if someone replies to you, that uses their own credits, not yours. Credits are bought on BlastCredits, and the Hub unlocks with your first purchase.
When to use it
Check your balance before a big send to everyone, and top up when Home says your runway is getting short.
How to do it
- Look at Home to see your Blasts credits, your email credits, and roughly how many everyone-wide Blasts they cover.
- Before a send, read the Delivery panel: it shows how many people receive it on Blasts, by email and in the weekly digest, which is what the send will cost.
- When you need more, click Top up on Home: it takes you to BlastCredits checkout and the credits land in your organization's balance.
- Email credit packs run from $10 for 2,500 to $100 for 50,000; every new Hub starts with 50.
Example
An organization has 2,000 credits and 800 people connected. Home shows that covers about two everyone-wide Blasts, and about six weeks at the current pace. Before a busy season the owner tops up so there is plenty for the extra messages.
Good to know
- You are only charged for delivered messages; failed and cancelled sends cost nothing.
- Hub Pro, which adds Journeys and Event Campaigns, unlocks at $500 in total purchases and stays unlocked. Content Series is available from the start.
- Verification is separate from Hub Pro: a verified nonprofit or church receives bonus credits (20% on everyday and email packs), not Pro.
- The Hub never mints or moves credits. It reads the balance and sends you to BlastCredits to buy more.
