Set up DealerBlasts for your dealership

Get your store profile, timezone, sending address and customer preferences page ready in a few minutes.

What this helps you do

Setup gets your dealership ready to send: your profile and branding, your timezone and interface language, the dealership-controlled Blasts account, your email sending address, and the preferences page where customers choose what they receive. A new dealership sets all of this up through onboarding, and the Hub activates with its first credit purchase from BlastCredits.

When to use it

Do this once when you first start, and revisit it if your website, timezone or ownership changes, or when the group adds a store.

How to do it

  • Sign in at /hub/signin/ with an email code, a passkey, or Sign in with Blasts, then open Settings.
  • Enter your dealership name and website so your logo and colors can be captured automatically.
  • Set your timezone and country so a message scheduled for seven in the morning actually reaches the drive at seven.
  • Choose your interface language. Customers choose their own language on their preferences page.
  • Confirm the dealership-controlled Blasts account: a mailbox on your own domain (not a manager's personal address), which is the root of ownership and recovery. Publish the DNS TXT record Settings shows you to verify the domain, and leave it published.
  • Check Email sending: the Hub provisions a sending address for you, and you can pick the weekday your weekly digest goes out for customers who chose it. Every new Hub starts with 50 email credits.
  • Copy the members portal link into your appointment confirmation and your delivery email; that is where each customer picks Blasts, email or both and their interests.
  • Turn on auto-accept so customers are connected the moment they scan the code at the cashier window, and decide whether a manager's Blasts need an administrator's approval.

Example

When you start, you enter the dealership name and website, and the Hub pulls the logo and brand color so every Blast looks like a note from your store rather than from a marketing vendor. You set the timezone, verify the domain, turn on auto-accept, and put the portal link in the appointment confirmation so customers set their preferences before their first visit.

Good to know

  • The Blasts account belongs to the dealership, not to one person, so it keeps working when a manager moves on.
  • Add a passkey on Home so step-up confirmations for All Customers sends use Face ID, Touch ID or your device PIN.
  • In a group, each store runs its own Hub or shares one with an audience per store; the Team screen limits a manager to their own audiences either way.
  • You can change the interface language anytime; only the Hub chrome changes, never what customers wrote or chose.

Do it in your Hub

Inside your Hub, Help shows this same article next to the screen it describes. Sign in at dealerblasts.com or right here.
