Turn buyers and service customers into a direct audience

Invite customers on the paperwork they are already holding, then reach them the same day.

What this helps you do

Blasts gives your dealership a direct channel to the customers you already have, with their consent. Each customer installs the free Blasts app once and connects to your dealership. After that a status update, a ready-for-pickup note, an appointment change, a courtesy recall notice or a closure on the service drive lands on their phone, clearly marked as from you, instead of going to voicemail. The Hub picks the right path for each person: someone already on Blasts gets a request in the app; someone who is not gets your invitation email with the enrollment code.

When to use it

Put the invitation on the paperwork you already hand over: the delivery folder, the repair order, the service confirmation and reminder, the cashier window, the loaner agreement and the parts counter. It happens on every visit, not at one event, and the advisor or the salesperson can mention it while the customer signs.

How to do it

  • Open Connections in your Hub and click Sync connections once so your enrollment code is published.
  • Print the enrollment kit for the cashier window, the service lounge and the parts counter, and put the enrollment code or QR code on the repair order and the delivery folder.
  • Add the code, or the standing enrollment link where it is enabled for your Hub, to the appointment confirmation and reminder emails your scheduler already sends.
  • Each customer installs Blasts on their phone, opens Settings, enters the code and taps Join.
  • If you can export an opted-in customer list, use Add many at once or upload the CSV. Invitations are checked on Blasts and spread out at up to 200 a day.
  • Point your website service-request or trade-appraisal form at the inbound webhook on Integrations, or use the Zapier app, so a new customer is invited the day they ask.
  • Accept requests under People who want to connect, or turn on auto-accept in Settings so customers are connected the moment they join.

Example

A single-rooftop store prints the kit for the cashier window and puts the code on every repair order. Advisors mention it at write-up, and the marketing manager uploads the opted-in service list for everyone else. Two months later 2,800 customers are connected, so when a storm closes the service drive at six on a Tuesday morning, the whole day's appointments hear it before they leave the house.

Good to know

  • Connecting is consent-based: a customer can mute or disconnect at any time, so the list stays made of people who want to hear from you.
  • This is not a way to message strangers, a purchased owner list or everyone in your market area: a customer must connect before anything is delivered.
  • Import columns: your file needs an email column. The Hub also recognizes name, first name, last name, phone, address, birthday, household, and interests (a column headed audiences, tags, groups or lists works too). Files are limited to 5,000 rows and 2 MB, with a preview before anything is sent.
  • There is no DMS, dealer CRM, manufacturer or service-lane connector. Your customer list reaches the Hub as a CSV export, through the inbound webhook, or through Zapier.
  • The Reach funnel on Connections shows where every customer stands (known, invited, requested or connected) and how they arrived: code, import, webhook, request or Zapier.
  • This is Blasts, not SMS: no per-message carrier fee, and no mobile numbers to collect or re-permission.
