What this helps you do
Credits are how you pay for messages. They are prepaid, never expire, and there is no subscription. One typed message to one person is one credit, and a voice message is two. There is no cost to receive a Blast, text or voice, so your congregation never pays to receive your communications. Only the sender pays: if someone replies to your Blast or sends the church a message, that message uses their own credits.
When to use it
Check your credits before a big Churchwide send, and top up when your balance is getting low.
How to do it
- Look at the Home screen to see your balance and roughly how many Churchwide Blasts it covers.
- Before a send, read the credit estimate to see what it will cost.
- When you need more, tap Top up on Home to buy credits.
Example
You have 2,000 credits and 800 people connected. Home shows that covers about two Churchwide Blasts. Before Easter you top up so you have plenty for the extra messages that week.
Good to know
- Credits never expire and there is no monthly fee.
- Receiving is always free for your congregation; the sender pays, so a reply to you uses the member's credits, not yours.
- You are only charged for delivered messages; failed sends cost nothing.
- Verified churches get bonus credits, and Journeys and Event Campaigns unlock as Hub Pro at 500 dollars in total purchases.
