Communicate around one date

Reminders and follow-ups timed before, on and after an event.

What this helps you do

An Event Campaign is a set of messages built around one fixed date. You set the date once and add messages timed relative to it: days or hours before, on the day, at event time, and after. The Hub schedules them all, and if the date changes, every upcoming message moves with it.

When to use it

Use it for a single big moment: a gala, a grand opening, a tournament, a product launch, a town hall, a graduation, a holiday service.

How to do it

  • Open Campaigns and choose New Event Campaign.
  • Name it, pick the audience, and set the event date and time.
  • Add messages timed before the event (save the date, reminders), on the day (times, parking, details), and after (thank you, next steps).
  • Review the timeline and Activate.
  • If plans move, use Change event date: upcoming messages are rescheduled; messages already sent do not change.

Example

For a season-opening game, the league adds a save-the-date two weeks out, a reminder with the schedule three days before, a day-of message with parking details two hours before, and a thank-you the next morning with photos and the next fixture.

Good to know

  • Someone who joins the audience later receives only the upcoming messages, never the reminders that already passed.
  • Everything hangs off the one date, so if plans hold you set it and forget it.
  • Event Campaigns are part of Hub Pro, which unlocks at $500 in total purchases.

Do it in your Hub

Inside your Hub, Help covers the same ground in your vertical's own vocabulary, next to the screen it describes.
